Affect Economy of Human Trafficking: Vulnerability, Hope, & Risky Endeavor in Japan
This talk will be based on Takeyama's preliminary fieldwork conducted in the summer of 2014 to explore the interrelation between politico-legal systems and the global economy with a specific focus on human trafficking issues in Japan. This event is part of a series from the Center for East Asian Studies where KU faculty give presentations about their current research or topics of interest related to East Asia. These lectures are free and open to the public. Tea and cookies will be served!
