Travel Grants
The Center will grant funds to CEAS faculty for travel to professional conferences, meetings, and workshops, and for international research contingent on availability of funds and approval by the Advisory Committee. Generally, travel grants are limited to one per year for each applicant. If funds remain after the first round of competition, second applications may be accepted. New Course or Testing Materials Development Grants
The Center awards New Course or Testing Materials Development Grants (up to $2,500 each) each year to CEAS faculty to support the development of non-language courses in East Asian Studies or language proficiency testing materials for East Asian languages. Once granted, you will be asked to provide CEAS with a brief summary report to show the developed syllabus, testing materials, and implementation results.
