Funding

The Center for East Asian Studies offers numerous funding opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Kansas focusing on the study of East Asia. The Center administers several scholarship funds supported by our donors. CEAS also compiles information on external funding programs for the benefit of students.

In addition to student funding, the Center provided funds for CEAS faculty from our Title VI NRC grant for conference and research travel.

Currently, the only funding for non-KU students and scholars are travel grant for research in the KU Libraries' East Asian Collection and Spencer Research Library.
