Tibetan/Uyghur Language Tuition Waiver

Overview

The Center's Tuition Waiver covers tuition for 3-hour Tibetan and Uyghur language and culture courses offered at the University of Kansas. Anyone is eligible, including non-KU students and members of the general public interested in learning these languages and cultures.

While the waiver covers tuition, students are responsible for student fees (approximately $295) when they enroll for the course. Please note that the student fees are subject to change.

Our tuition waiver program in entirely funded by federal grants from the U.S. Department of Education; therefore, the continuation of this program is contingent upon the receipt of federal funding.
