Biography —
Changming Duan is a professor of counseling psychology in the Department of Educational Psychology at University of Kansas. Changming Duan received her Ph.D. degree in social and counseling psychology from University of Maryland. Prior to joining KU faculty in the Fall, 2011, she had worked as a faculty member in University of Missouri Columbia and University of Missouri Kansas City respectively. Her professional interest includes researching counseling processes and outcome in cultural contexts, and topics related to multicultural education and counseling the culturally diverse. She is also interested in doing international work in counseling related training and research.
She is committed to cross-cultural understanding and pursuing multicultural perspectives to enhance the science and practice of counseling psychology.
