Research

Dr. Politzer-Ahles uses methods from experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience—including electroencephalography, eye-tracking, and behavioural techniques— to investigate the instantiation of abstract linguistic processes and representations. Much of his research focuses on phonological alternations and structure, and on pragmatic aspects of meaning.
